Walnut and Steel Bookshelf
This beautiful piece was a custom order to create a home library. We started by fabricating some stylish supports from steel then added solid black walnut shelves.
The walnut was locally harvested from a farm in southern Wayne county and had been air drying in a barn loft for about 10 years. We converted that perfectly aged rough cut lumber into some truly spectacular shelves.
Now That’s a Sign!
Jim over at the Dirty Dog Motorcycle Company needed a sign, and we wanted to make sure he had one as unique as his bikes. The only thing to do was design one for him. We started with his logo and added a sweet custom bike design just for him, then cut the whole thing on our state of the art CNC plasma table. We think it turned out great, and the smile on Jim’s face makes me think he agrees. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Equipment Keeps Rolling In
It’s been like Christmas around here all week. Big crates keep showing up with all of the equipment we have ordered. Welders, Plasma Cutter, CNC Table, Industrial Laser Engravers…. the list goes on.
Like Christmas, “some assembly is required”. That has been less fun but necessary. Did you ever spend all night putting together a bicycle or castle for your kids the night before or day after Christmas? It’s been like that, only everything weighs 140 pounds. The good news is most of that work is done and we are getting ready to bring things online and get started.
